I create all the designs for Frushi. I am responsible for the logo, photos, website, illustrations, prints, stickers, some of the content for our Social Media and so on…I also stand behind some of the recipes, but, as the designer, mostly I sit behind the computer screen.
A few days ago, I thought about how my life changed within the last year. With two jobs and almost no free time, I have given up on some activities I enjoyed. I used to spend way more time in the kitchen. I would experiment, create own recipes, invite my friends over and make them something colourful and plant-based ( or vegetarian because I am very egg-friendly ). I would arrange it nicely, and then take pictures of everything. To sum it up, I definitely used to be the typical 21st-century foodie.
That is actually why I reached out to the Frushi team. We seemed to have a lot in common. If you asked them, they would say something like: ‘’We liked her Instagram, it was full of beautiful food, so we thought she could be useful. ‘’ I did some photos and created couple recipes but over time I took over the design and other tasks that needed to be done. That’s how it works in a small Start-Up, or at least at Frushi. Eventually, I would sit behind my laptop all the time. Regarding my cooking I used to love so much, I would repetitively make my six signature basic meals but didn’t care about the look of them at all. Even my Instagram stop showing me the food posts!
The funny thing is that I knew I was missing something but I only admitted it a few days ago when my headache got extremely bad from the computer screen shining. I love to do digital design, don’t get me wrong, but I need some variation. Do different sorts of things, to be able to enjoy each of them.
I was always into writing and thought about establishing a food blog, but then, there is already so many of them! Anyways, Frushi has a blog but no active authors at the moment which is a shame. So, we made a deal. Well, I actually just told them about my idea and they agreed. Woop Woop! Something like a collaboration. So, the Frushi blog is my blog from now on.
I can post almost whatever I want as long as I update you guys about everything important regarding Frushi company as such. So I’ll try to split it into two main sections – ‘’Frushi’’ section and my section ( Please WordPress be nice to me and don’t make it complicated ).
In the Frushi section, you will find all the events we will attend, all the new products, changes and such.
In my section, you can expect some cool healthy vegan & vegetarian recipes, recommendations, food-related art and who knows what else. Let me know if you have some ideas! I am excited to see how this will go.
Have a great day!
